Bingham & Taylor Opens California Distribution Center
October 26, 2017. Bingham and Taylor, North America’s preeminent manufacturer of products for the gas and water distribution markets and original patent holder of the Buffalo Valve Box, announces the opening of a major Western US distribution center in Corona, CA.
The facility is co-located with Tripac, a leading fastener supplier, entirely dedicated to the water & wastewater industries. Tripac is now quoting and fulfilling distributor customer orders for Bingham & Taylor customers throughout the western states.
Tripac has been a manufacturer’s rep partner since 2014. According to Jay Corazza, Bingham & Taylor National Sales and Marketing Director, “Tripac’s industry knowledge, and in-depth understanding of our products, made them the ideal choice for a distribution hub. We believe that this, coupled with the energy that Tripac devotes to customers, will quickly prove to be a tremendous asset to Bingham & Taylor distributor customers.”
Inventory from the Las Vegas, NV facility has been relocated to Tripac’s facility. “This development will immediately benefit customers throughout the Pacific and Mountain time zones through faster quoting and order processing, material pick up, and freight delivery for Bingham and Taylor products. We are excited about this next stage of our growth,” adds Corazza.

New Facility Boosts Capacity for US-Made Utility Products
Fredericksburg, VA, April 4, 2017. Bingham and Taylor, the original manufacturer and
patent holder of the “Buffalo-style” valve box, leads the way once again with the opening
of a new injection molding facility in Fredericksburg, VA. The facility, located 30 minutes from the company’s primary foundry and plastic blow molding facility in Culpeper, VA, will produce precision engineered meter pits, a new product (patent pending) for the water and gas industry.
CEO Laura Grondin says, “we are proud to bring new products and innovation to the water and gas market”. Executive VP and GM Paul Pereira, adds, “this facility gives customers an option for ordering high performance, precision products in significant volumes, on a fast-track basis. We are committed to being the industry’s most reliable supplier.”
According to Jay Corazza, National Sales and Marketing Manager, “the proximity of our manufacturing locations allows us to deliver cast iron meter frames and covers on the
same trucks we ship meter pits, providing one-stop convenience for buyers, and easing freight challenges.”
Plant Manager Randy Gibson says the company’s injection molding machines, each have clamping abilities in excess of 2000 tons, and can produce 900 meter pits per day.
Bingham and Taylor also produces rotationally molded meter pits in similar and larger sizes, in its North Carolina facility. All products are stocked in Fredericksburg, VA to facilitate logistics and provide readily available stock in all sizes and types.
